Hi! My name is Jeff Danelek. I'm a graphic artist by trade, a writer by design, and a ne'r do well by temperment who also happens to be on something of a spiritual journey of discovery and has been for quite a few years now. What does that mean? It means that I am interested in more than just the day-to-day affairs of the worldyou know: paying the bills, watching my waistline, wondering what the economy is going to do next, worrying about the future, etc.but am intensly interested in the "bigger" things out there such as what happens when we die, is there a God and, if so, can He (or She) be known, and just what does it take to make life work. These questions have haunted me since I was a kid (suggesting that I was an unusual kid, but that's another story) and have led me on a fifty year questwell, a forty year quest anywayto find the answers to these questions, assuming there were answers to be found.
This journey has led me down a lot of different pathssome traditional and others less sobut all of which has led me to where I am now. I have been a Catholic, an agnostic, an evangelical, fundamentalist Christian, and a student of Neale Donald Walsch, Ekhardt Tolle, and Wayne Dyer among others, all of whom have shown me pieces of a larger puzzle and invited me to put the pieces together for myself. The articles on this website, then, are the culmination of that journey and serve as a snapshot of where I am today. They are, of course, just a few of the many ideas, thoughts, concerns, and musings I've come up with over the years, some of which you may find speak to you as they have to me. Hopefully you'll find among them something that will speak to you and perhaps help you find answers to your own questions. Of course, nothing that you read here are to be taken as authoritative or the last word (or even the first word, for that matter) on any subject and should be read with the recognition that I am searching for understanding the same as you are. I only offer them as sign posts that might help you find your way, just as similar writings from others over the years have done the same for me.
So now you know the reason for this site. Think of it as a safe place you can go to contemplate the important things of life as you walk on your own journey toward spiritual enlightenment. Also, I welcome any comments or questions you may have; just click on the e-mail links and send away. I always enjoying hearing what you think.
Enjoy and may you find the answers to your questions, the God that resides in your heart, and the dreams of eternity that are yours to ponder.
